Client: St. Margaret's Bay Regional Tourism Development Association
Location: Peggy's Cove, NS
Needs of Client: Form:Media, a Halifax, Nova Scotia based Environmental Graphic Design company had created a comprehensive wayfinding strategy and signage program design for this famous Canadian tourism destination. The project required the talents of a high quality sign fabricator that specialized in custom solutions, materials and structural approaches for the unique settings and conditions. The program included:
- All weather interpretive panels
- Major gateway signs and directional signs
- Sign structures that had to be visually attractive and highly functional (strong enough to tie a boat to!)
Solution:
- Form:Media partnered with Eye Catch Signs, to complete the project for the Tourism authority.
Final Deliverables:
- A robust and functional sign system able to withstand harsh elements and high traffic yet deliver superb interpretive services
- 17 individual interpretive panels located throughout the Cove
- 2 highway vehicular directional signs
- 1 unique gateway sign using a 16 ton granite rock indigenous to the area
