A Step Toward Complete Accessibility

Effective Braille and tactile signs are one important way in which you can make your facilities welcoming and functional for people with vision limitations.

But now the makers of BrailliantTouch® signs have developed a new signage system that goes even further. By adding an audio component in an appropriate setting, you can reach almost every user.

A BrailliantTouch® Audio Sign can be combined with our traditional Braille and tactile signs, or installed as a stand alone item. For any location where your message needs a special medium, consider the possibilities of a BrailliantTouch® Audio Sign. It's a giant step closer to complete accessibility.

Pressing the button on these BrailliantTouch® AudioSign models activates a spoken message, allowing those who need audible information, rather than visible information, to access it. These signs are designed for easy installation and setup, flexibility of use, durability, and vandal-resistance for indoor usage.

You can record your own voice message easily with the built-in microphone, or download it from a tape or CD player. Model AS 10040 will store up to 40 seconds and Model AS 10080 up to 80 seconds of clear, natural voice messages, in DAST (Direct Analog Storage Technology) chips. No battery backup is necessary, and messages can be changed quickly and easily. Typical applications are to supply audible information such as opening hours, menus, and directional information for public buildings.

The overall size of the unit is 165mm wide x 197mm high x 45mm thick, and it is powered by 4 'D' cell batteries, or a 9V adapter. The power/volume is operated by an on/off switch with volume control. Mounting holes are provided for simple installation - two on the side and two on the back.

For any location where your message needs a special medium, consider the possibilities of a BrailliantTouch® Audio Sign. It's a giant step closer to complete accessibility.
